Human cardiac catheterization was introduced by Werner Forssman in 1929. Ignoring his department chief, and tying his assistant to an operating table to prevent his interference, he placed a uretheral catheter into a vein in his arm, advanced it to the right atrium [of his heart], and walked upstairs to the x-ray department where he took the confirmatory x-ray film. In 1956, Dr. Forssman was awarded the Nobel Prize.

State Police Asking Motorists To Delay Unnecessary Travel
Troopers have responded to approximately 10 crashes, some injury, today along with multiple reports of vehicles sliding off the highway. Many drivers have not heeded the recommendation to BE PREPARED and SLOW DOWN, while having the necessary traction devices for your vehicle to travel safely in these winter conditions.
Travelers should continue to monitor media reports and conditions as posted on ODOT's website www.tripcheck.com.
