On March 3, 2010 at about 11:00 am, Deputy David Hawley with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance near the 100 Block of W 3rd Street in Yachats.
On March 3, 2010 at about 11:00 am, Deputy David Hawley with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance near the 100 Block of W 3rd Street in Yachats. A subsequent investigation revealed that Jack E. Sigler, 42 years old, of Yachats was found in possession of an indoor marijuana grow operation. 94 plants were seized at the above location resulting in a total weight of approximately 2.3 pounds of dried marijuana.
On August 20th, 2010 an indictment warrant was issued out for Sigler's arrest. Unlawful Manufacture of Marijuana, Unlawful Delivery of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana were the listed charges attached to the warrant.
On August 21th, 2010 Deputy Cliff Sites and Deputy David Hawley made contact with Sigler at the Lincoln County Courthouse regarding the outstanding warrant. Deputy Hawley placed Sigler in custody at the scene without incident. Sigler was booked and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on a $250,000 bail.
The Lincoln County Interagency Narcotics Team and the Oregon State Police assisted with this incident.
