Drug Arrest at Devils Lake

On July 19, 2010 at about 3:16pm, Deputy David Hawley with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to the Devils Lake State Park to attempt a warrant service on a male subject who was reportedly camping at the location. Deputy Hawley contacted 53 year old John Otis Parker of Otis, Oregon who had an outstanding Lincoln County warrant for his arrest for Fail to appear. During contact with Parker, Deputy Hawley discovered Methamphetamine in his possession. Parker was placed in custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on the warrant and one count of Unlawful possession of Methamphetamine. Parker’s bail was set at $200,002.00.
