Yachats Arrest

Deputy Abby Dorsey investigated an Attempted Burglary into a residence, and Unlawful Entry into a Yachats Fire Dept Emergency Vehicle on 08/07/09 at about 8:00 a.m.

There were several items taken from the Fire Department vehicle including medical supplies valued at about $300.00. Evidence at the scene subsequently led to the arrest of Jessee James Deerinwater, 27, of Yachats.

Deerinwater was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for charges of Attempted Burglary in the First Degree; Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle; and Theft II with a bail of $125,000.00. Deerinwater also had an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I with a bail of $75,000.00.
